History

Since 1969. Located in historic downtown Easton, Maryland.

Bob Wright saw an opportunity to create a business based in part on the growing interest in dress making and sewing. In 1969, he started Wright’s Fabrics which concentrated in dress and drapery fabrics, sewing machine sales and service, linens and bedding, bath towels, bathroom accessories, and ready made curtains.

The business continued to grow on the corner of Washington and Dover Streets in Easton, Maryland during the 1970′ and 80’s. However, increased competition from larger chain stores necessitated a change in direction for the business. Wright’s migrated from primarily a fabric and bath shop to a business featuring window treatments (shades, blinds, shutters, and draperies).

Bob’s son, Kevin, became more and more involved in the business after graduating from college in the late 70’s. As the business grew he became the installer for all of the window treatments and for several decorators, in the area, as well.

Kevin’s expertise, developed from years of selling and installing, is what sets Wright’s Interiors apart from the competition. Wright’s sales are driven by repeat customers and referrals who want knowledge and experience to help guide them through the selection process. Come see us or set up a free in home consultation with Kevin.

Kevin Wright has continued the family tradition. New showroom located at 15 Goldsborough Street in Easton, Maryland.
